Sewing Project

Training in held at the SAY land in Jimbo, 3km  from Wakiso town council.

The project is focused on empowering and support the youth, both boys and girls in Wakiso to have a skill so they have a way to make an income and become self sustained. As many of the youth are unemployed, a practical skill is important to enhance their possibility of generating an income.

The money the youth  earn can help their families pay for food, medical care and other basic needs. 

Moving forward, we seek to expand the program by increasing the number of sewing machines and sewing supplies as we reach more rural youths
