Executive Director: Heather Lytle
Heather May Lytle is the executive director and one of the co-founders of the Hope of Africa. Since 2003, she has worked throughout Africa with several organizations. From 2006- 2009, she lived in South Africa establishing a boarding school for orphaned and vulnerable children. She currently travels to Africa several times a year to teach, conduct camps, and lead teams. She has led fourteen trips to various parts of Africa and has a passion for holistically mentoring young people to achieve their God-given dreams and talents.
Heather has worked for 15 years in various healthcare settings. She currently works as an RN at Mayo Clinic Rochester, Minnesota in an Intensive Care Unit and is currently finishing her master’s degree to become a Family Nurse Practitioner.
